I celebrate Deepavali.
Long ago there was a evil demon named naragaasuran who distrubed people. After seeing the people's suffering lord krishna decided to punish the demon. Eventually he killed the demon. Just before dying, the demon was given a boon from the lord. The demon requested that the people to remember his day of death annually. The people were also overjoyed upon the demon's death and started to celebrate this day also known as deepavali.
